The visitation will be held at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home in Mason ( 400 Reading Road ) on Sunday September 28th from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday September 29th at Heritage Presbyterian Church in Mason ( 6546 South Mason-Montgomery Road) at 1 pm. We thank everyone for their prayers and support during this past year. We have been amazed by the number of people who have reached out to support our family. Many of you we will never meet, but you have touched our lives in an indescribable way.
Lauren Mackenzie Bells earned her wings this morning Friday September 26th at 12:30 am. More details will follow.
Lauren did great for her MRI and placement off her feeding tube today. She is an amazing little girl. As we had feared the MRI showed that the tumor is growing. There are no longer any options for treatment. Lauren will be in the hospital for a few more days while she adjusts to the feeding tube and then she will go home. She did have a headache today, but we are going to try to control them with OTC products and we can start using steroids or other medications if we need them. Thanks to everyone for their continued prayers. I will update again when I can.
