Golf Outing has been pushed back to September 22. That is still a Monday and we are still looking for golfers if anyone is interested. You will golf for free but we will be asking that you get sponsorship for businesses or individuals. If anyone is interested in helping please let me know!

Kroger's in Mason on Terra Firma drive is having "cook-out" June 27/28/29 with all the proceeds going to Lauren! I don't have all the details but will be finding out with-in the next day or two so check back for an update on hours and what ever else I can find out!

We are working on organizing a golf outing in August. We are looking for 20 golfers that would like to participate. It will be help at Crooked Tree Golf Course in Mason,Ohio on a Monday. If any one is interested in participating please contact me so we can save a spot for you!!!

Dinner with a Princess and auction will be held August 30, 2008 at the American Legion Hall in Mason, Ohio!!!! Sounds as though it will be a spaghetti dinner and will be held from 6 to 10 pm.

Kids Closet is having a benefit in Lauren's honor! Saturday May 31 from 9am till 2 pm They will be having a silent auction, carnival type games for kids, bake sale and flea market/ garage sale! The store is located on Rt 42 in West Chester between West Chester Rd and Dimmick.

The Mason Larosa's has offered to have a benefit for Lauren, they will donate a portion of the proceeds on a given night. We have chosen Tuesday April 8th, 2008. The link above is a flier about the event and has a ticket on the side that is needed for us to receive our portion. For anyone that is interested you can choose from dine in, pick up or delivery on April 8th at the Mason location and Lauren will receive 20%. We will be trying to get copies out into the community but you can print your own from the link above. As long as Lauren is feeling well we will be going up in the evening and try to stay for as long as she will tolerate. We owe a big thank you to Lauren Worrall for putting this together for us! We hope to see everyone there and don't forget your flier!!!

I have to say you all turned out in amazing numbers on Tuesday at Larosa's. We owe a big THANK YOU to everyone including Larosa's that helped to make that night as good as it was. We earned about $2000 from the kindness of everyone. That will certainly be put to good use for Lauren's medical bills!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FLYING PIG!

We have two things in the works right now. We will be needing some volunteers to work at The Flying Pig marathon on Saturday May 3. It will be from about 7am to noon and you will be handing out water, medals cheering on the runners and whatever else they may need! We are looking for at least 100 volunteers. You only need to register ahead of time and then just check-in when you get there that morning. You can contact Brooke who is organizing things through The Cure Starts Now to get registered. (brooke@thecurestartsnow.org) The Flying Pig gives a donation to a non-profit group for bringing volunteers to help with the event. Brooke and The Cure Starts Now have been asked to participate being a non-profit but would like for us to receive the donation to help with Laurens medical costs. I know there isn't a lot of time before the event but we certainly appreciate everyone that is able to help out!

As for the second we are working with the Cancer Crusaders on a dinner with raffle baskets and possibly some silent auction items. We are working on gathering donations now and depending on what we get we will go from there. We do not have the date for the event yet but should know early in May so you can mark your calenders for the event! I Will keep you posted.
